Paradox

Societal expectations trap us in boxes, limiting freedom and happiness. People become what is expected, forced into categories like loud or quiet, confident or insecure. But what if both sides of a paradox are true?

This project celebrates the paradoxes within us, embracing contradictions. By doing the opposite — by not being ashamed of who you are but rather embracing it — you learn to truly be yourself, pursue what matters, and live without regret. The "X" symbolizes the intersection of opposites, encouraging us to cross boundaries, not fit into a box.

Designed as part of my final university project, it blends physical and digital elements—including an interactive game—to prompt users to reflect on self-imposed expectations. I led the concept development, UX design, and storytelling, with a focus on vulnerability and emotional design.
